Nvidia Releases Graphics Drivers for Windows 7
The world leader in graphic technologies and the inventor of the GPU, Nvidia released of its first drivers specially designed for GeForce card for Windows 7 Beta Operating System.Nvidia says that , Windows 7 will be the first Windows Operating System to fully integrate and take advantage of the GPU for both graphics and parallel computing.
The new Nvidia GeForce drivers for Windows 7 comes in 32-bit and 64-bit flavors, they Support the new Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) 1.1 which is a tweaked graphics driver architecture of standard Windows 7 that debuted with Vista and has promises the improvement in both 2D and 3D applications, including 3D Windows Aero desktop.
Some features of the Nvidia GF drivers version 181.71:
- Installs WDDM v1.0 for GeForce 6 and 7-series DirectX 9 GPUs.
- Installs WDDM v1.1 for GeForce 8, 9, and 200-series DirectX 10 GPUs
- Supports NVIDIA CUDA – Compute Unified Device Architecture.
- Supports Direct3D, Direct2D, and DirectWrite.
- Supports NVIDIA SLI on DirectX 9, DirectX 10, and OpenGL applications.
- Supports NVIDIA PhysX (this driver package automatically installs PhysX System Software version 9.09.0203 for all GeForce 8, 9, and 200-series GPUs).

Google Chrome gets Duplicate Tab and Full Screen Mode
Google chrome is no more newbie browser. Google Chrome is constantly increasing its market share, At the same time it is coming with new versions too.The latest version of chrome comes with a full screen option which most of the today’s browsers already have.However, It is available with only with Developer Channel of Google Chrome.The difference between beta and developer channel chrome is just the updated period.Developer Channel of Google Chrome is updated weekly where as beta chrome is done monthly.
In the regular version, it got an option to duplicate any given tab.This feature can be used to easily move over cookies and other session related content from one tab to another to duplicate a tab, right click on any of the tab you want to duplicate and click on the Duplicate Tab option
To enter full screen mode in Google chrome.
Press the F11 key on your keyboard and see what happens
, The difference between full screen mode in Google chrome and other browsers is the address bar.There is no address bar available in the full screen mode, so you will have to get out of full screen to type in another URL.
Note that If you are not a developer channel user, you will not see the new features in your Google Chrome.However, shifting to Developer Channel of Google Chrome is pretty simple.Complete the below steps.
- Download the Google Chrome Channel Changer.
- Run the file.
- Select the circle next to the Dev: The latest features and bugfixes.
- Click on the Update button to save your choice.
- Click on the Close button
- In Google Chrome, click the wrench menu(Top right) and choose “About Google Chrome”.
- If there are any latest update, click Update Now to install the current channel’s release.
- Restart Google Chrome
Google Chrome will automatically update the browser to the latest version when future updates are released, to change back to a different channel(stable or beta), follow steps once again.
How to Add Picture Watermark in Microsoft Word 2007
Sometimes adding watermark in Microsoft word document is necessary, If you are sending a confidential report, or a Draft etc. This will stress the purpose of the document.This watermarking process is simple but varies based on which version of Microsoft Word you use.While Microsoft Word 2007 is the easiest to use for this task.

Creating a watermark using Microsoft Word 2007
- Select Page Layout after opening a word document (it will be in office ribbon)
- Click Watermark from the Page Background group
- A dialog will appear with options like “Picture Watermark” “Text Watermark”.
- Select Picture Watermark option
- Load the watermark image you’d like to use. (The image i used is here confidential )
- Now Your watermark will now appear on every page.

- Open the word document
- From the Format menu, select Background and then Printed Watermark
- In the Printed Watermark dialog, select the radio button for Picture watermark.
- Load the watermark image you’d like to use.
- Now Your watermark will now appear on every page.
Creating a watermark using Microsoft Word 2000
I am not sure of creating a watermark in Microsoft Word 2000, As i never used it.Please check this tutorial if you are using Microsoft Word 2000.
